TRP means "Television Rating Point " and it is a tool which provides the most viewed program on the television and its popularity . Higher the TRP value means the audience of that particular program is higher. It shows that how popular a program is in the audience and they like him more.It record the time and average of 30 days for a particular channel and shows the TRP value for 30 days by which it decide the TRP value of that channel and higher the value its means more earning from that channel . So, now a days every channel wants to increase his TRP value at any coast by viewing the audience their best program which they wants to view.

Now a days there is more compitation in this line and the channels bring their best effort to increase their TRP value

How to calculate TRP of Channels :

The TRP of any channel can be calculated by an Indian Agency called INTAM ( Indian Television Audience Measurement ) by Frequency Monitoring Method And Picture Matching Technique and these devices are called Peoples Meter which calculate how much time people watch a particular TV channel and how much advertising that particular channel shows . The Increase or Decrease value of TRP also effect the channel and also its popularity.
