PMKVY ( Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana ) :
This is an Indian Government Skill Education Scheme under Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) . The main objective of this scheme is to increase the skill levels of indian youth in different fields so they can survive their life and living standards in a better way. Under this scheme the trainee is certified with a proper certificate and the fees and study materials are free of cost from indian Government.
This scheme is launched at 16th July 2015 at New Delhi and still working very well in its field.The main purpose of this scheme is to increase skill level of people in Urban and Rural areas like most in villages and small towns where more need of employment.
There are many small level institute and other organisations which run this scheme and the aim of this scheme is not to provide a certificate but also provide the trainee a better job in his field and give them more chances to get a better job.
The government of india provides sufficient funds to these Institutes for better running their schemes throughout india.There are many fields in which training is provided by these institutes and some of these are listed below :

Interested candidates can apply any job role according to their interest and their qualifications which are applicable different for different courses.Now a days Government is making necessary to have a PMKVY certificate in some government jobs and some cases in private sectors also .The government also provide loan facilities for those who wants to start up their own business and for small Industries.
Govt of India also spending a lot of money on Advertising of this scheme to spread out this scheme at national level to encourage more people about this scheme so they become more aware about this scheme and also take more benefits of this scheme.
Many training Centre are opened in each state all around the country to run smoothly this scheme.Special Instructions are applicable for these training centre to set up their centres .Training centre are graded according to their performance.

85 - 100 % 5 Stars
70 - 84 % 4 Stars
55 - 69 % 3 Stars
40 - 54 % 2 Stars
Below 40 % 1 Stars
The Percentages depend upon the assessment result of the students and which centre have more rating will provide him more target of students at the next time of assessment allotment to the centre .So,every centre will give his best to achieve more target at next time and through this the performance of training centre will increase.
Education Qualifications for Job Role in PMKVY Scheme :
The qualification requirements for different job roles are different .The basic qualification requirements are as given below
- The candidate should possess 10th , 12th, Graduation or higher study classes from any board or state board and in some job roles the minimum qualification is 5th to 8th standard also
- The attendance requirement is 80-90 % .
- The candidate should have his / her Aadhaar Card or Govt Id. and should have bank account also.
- Study Materials and Dress code should be provided from training Institute with a proper kit.
Basic Requirements for PMKVY study centre :
The study Centre is applied online process and after that it is verified with proper team which physically meet to training centre and submit his report to approve the study centre.Some basic requirements are as :
- Area Requirements : The area required for PMKVY study centre is min. 1500 Sq. Foot to 3000 Sq. foot or more as per Job Role requirements.
- Infrastructure and Training Centre : The requirement of infrastructure for a particular training centre should be as per MSDE norms.
- Washroom Facility & Parking : Separate washroom facility should be proper for girls and boys and should have parking facility also.
- Computer Lab for IT and Non IT courses : Computer lab also necessary for IT and Non IT courses . There should be 15 computers set with internet connectivity for IT courses and should have 6 computers set for Non IT courses with internet connectivity. Separate Printer and Reception section also required for centre.
- Biometric Attendance : The attendance for these courses of candidate should be with biometric device.
The centre which provide the above conditions at the time of verification of centre will approve for Study centre. These are the basic requirements and other document formalities are separate.
